Senior Tax Analyst

Casey’s General Stores, Inc. Corporate Headquarters in Ankeny, IA is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst.  This position is responsible for preparing the quarterly tax provision and associated supporting workpapers, preparing/reviewing the federal and state income tax returns and quarterly estimated tax payments and implementing income tax planning projects.  This position will also assist with fixed asset tax accounting and indirect tax compliance and audit management.  Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 5-7 years related work experience in Big Four public accounting firm or equivalent medium/large corporate tax department.  CPA designation or a graduate business degree in related field preferred.  Significant experience in the preparation and/or review of ASC 740 computations and required SEC disclosures is required.  Qualified candidates will also possess strong command of federal and state income tax returns, tax law and tax research skills; familiarity with fixed asset reporting software; excellent oral and written communication skills; effective analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; must be proactive, self-reliant and have the ability to prioritize multiple projects concurrently.
