Are you looking for an opportunity to gain knowledge and experience at a Fortune 500 company during your next summer break? Casey's offers internship opportunities throughout many of our departments at our Ankeny, IA headquarters including Information Technology, Marketing, Human Resources, Store Operations, Distribution Center, Training and more!
Our summer internship program runs from May-August, depending on our interns' school schedules. Students can begin applying for internships at Casey's in the fall.
Casey's was fortunate to have 21 innovative, driven interns in the summer of 2018! Our interns pursue an array of degrees including Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Human Resources and more.
During their weeks here, the interns had the opportunity to present project results to senior leadership, shadow another department of their choice, and spend time volunteering at a local organization. From touring different stores in the Des Moines metro area and gaining perspective on how the business operates, to meeting with Casey's President and CEO, Terry Handley, no day was ever the same.
We loved learning from the interns this past summer, and we wish them continued success in their educational and professional endeavors.
“The Casey's internship program is unlike any other. This summer, not only did I have the opportunity to work on projects that affected change at the store level, I learned more about the company from the Casey's executive team, and met many great people. It was an experience I will never forget.” Michael, Fuel Marketing Intern
“My favorite thing about Casey's is working alongside people who genuinely love what they're doing. It's refreshing coming to work with people who are happy to be here.” Molly, Food Service Intern
“I could not have asked for a better internship experience! The Distribution Center internship is filled with hands on experience that opened my eyes to the complexity of organizing the distribution to 2,000+ stores. From day one, I was trusted to carry out projects that had immediate impact on day to day operations. Not only did I learn from my immediate supervisors but I also got a lot of great career and life advice from Senior Leadership during the all intern lunch and learns!” Haley, Distribution Center Intern
