In line with our purpose, Casey's is working to be there for our guests and communities during this challenging time. We are in the process of moving to full service in all our stores which means our team members are directly serving guests pizza, bakery items and other prepared foods. This includes adjusting self service areas and pausing the use of refillable mugs and cups. We will be closing all seating areas in stores. We will also be encouraging all delivery and carryout pizza guests to complete payment online to reduce contact at checkout.
We continue to operate with a heightened schedule of store cleaning, sanitizing and more frequent handwashing. This includes being diligent with fundamental actions like increasing the frequency of cleaning food prep equipment, counters, restrooms and fuel pumps as well as other high-touch surfaces throughout our stores. As always, our team members are staying home if they are sick.
In addition to existing benefits, we are accommodating our team members with an additional paid leave program to support those impacted and our healthcare plans will cover the cost of COVID-19 testing.
